It's usually made from waterproof materials like polyethylene or polypropylene. Adhesive Keeps the pad in place. It's usually made from hypoallergenic materials to avoid skin irritation. Packaging Protects the pad from contamination and moisture. It's usually made from plastic or paper. Release paper Protects the adhesive on the back of the pad before use. It's non-stick on one side and is removed when the pad is applied.
